I initially tried MER Biofeedback\u00ae therapy mainly out of curiosity. At the time, I was dealing with various inner disturbances but believed I had to manage them on my own. I had begun to notice that I was reacting unreasonably strongly to my child’s activities and other daily tasks, sometimes suddenly “exploding.” My temper was short, and I would go from zero to a hundred very quickly! During or immediately after these outbursts, I realized that my reactions (anger, rage) were disproportionate to my child’s behavior. My irritability was uncontrollable.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Working with people daily drained my energy, leaving me with no energy for my loved ones in the evening. This irritability was immediately followed by guilt towards my child. Additionally, thinking about the future caused me anxiety\u2014wondering how things would turn out and whether I could handle it all.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Going through three consecutive sessions of biofeedback therapy has been a pleasant experience for me. The biggest change has been in how I feel. I no longer feel weighed down, it is easy for me now. After the therapy, my excessive irritability disappeared. I don’t get upset over little things anymore. I am calmer, more balanced, and able to choose how and when I react\u2014I am more in control of my own feelings.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
