My daughter has had ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) for a while. Her symptoms included restlessness, impulsivity, absent-mindedness, poor attention span, difficulty concentrating, and mood swings. She would get upset and angry over simple things. At school, she had a lot of problems concentrating and studying.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After her diagnosis, the doctor prescribed medication for ADHD, but felt it made my child emotionally numb and unresponsive. She lost interest in everything, and her emotions seemed absent. She would just stare out the window, lost in her own world. When I tried to talk to her, she would respond, “Leave me alone, I want to be alone!” I knew I had to find another way to help her.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A friend of mine, whose child also had ADHD, told me about their positive experience with MER Biofeedback therapy. After considering it, I decided to take my daughter to MER Biofeedback therapy as well.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After just the first therapy session, I noticed changes in my daughter’s behaviour.<\/span><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

There was considerably less protest and reluctance. She became happier and more open, so I was able to talk to her. She developed an interest in books and was even able to read a book to the end, which had been impossible until now. Seeing that the therapy had a positive effect on her, I decided to attend further sessions with her. So far, we have been to therapy four times, and the results continue to surprise me! Her ADHD symptoms have subsided.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My daughter’s academic performance has improved significantly, as have her relationships with other students and teachers. She is much calmer and more balanced. Irritation and anger occur less and less. Her self-expression has also improved. She has become interested in various things and actively participates in family events and other gatherings. I am very happy that my daughter is doing better despite her ADHD diagnosis!<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
